oh great heavens, what have you done. as a certified Strange Tetrislikes Enjoyer, I have put up a 34 on my first-ish attempt, but I can't fathom how deep this game could go. perhaps someone could score 100 by keeping very good track of each board and what their future plans are, but I just started forgetting about them and accidentally walking into spires.

good puzzles! I did not notice that the right side of the page had reversed words, and when they did unambiguously show up starting at 9, I was mostly just confused. 0 didn't help with that a ton; it still didn't click for me (because all of them were valid words reversed) so I further distrusted the bottom left to tell me the first letter of the word (figuring that perhaps it could tell me the start or end -- surely "si" wouldn't count as a word in this all-english puzzle (of course, there's also "lengua de gato" but I was far away from finding that))

oh right yes I read this as it released. it's very good! let's go lesbianssss

(1 edit)

starting the week off at 720 lines

agree with the sentiment, but don't have a fix. long was well balanced, and felt comparable to playing tetris with pentominoes - at the highest level you could probably go for thousands of lines, but it takes a lot of effort to reach that. I think not including a hold feature contributed to this balance by making the stacking harder

mini, vertical, and long 2 are all death by speed

twisted, repeat, lava, SUPER, and tilted are all marathons

iirc letter and double were death by speed and marathon, respectively, but maybe they were well balanced
